Milestones along the countdown.

I love counting down to the start of a trip.  Milestones like 100 days, 90 days, 80 days, and today which is 35 days away.  The excitement some times makes it difficult to capture the exact time of the milestone.  Perhaps my day job also interfered with the screen capture.

So very very close,  so very close to 100 Days exactly

90 days is a three-month out mile marker which is a good reminder to get the ball rolling.  We revisited the spreadsheets and booked some transfers.  This is also a time to start getting restaurant reservations

 Around the World in 80 Days applies here because it will be 80 days until we go around the world but we won't take 80 days to go around the world, you know what I mean...

In 35 days we will leave for 35 days. If certain amount of symmetry there.

A Change in Plans

Unfortunately we have replaced the Sri Lanka portion of the trip with a trip to Qatar.  In light of the continued difficulties that the people of Sri Lanka have been going through we decided that we needed to skip a trip to Colombo.  We had reservations at the Shangri La which was extensively damaged.  But now we are going to Doha!  Stay Tuned the trip is coming soon.
