30 October 2023 Zadar: Wind Advisory Today

We woke to a blustery wind blowing everything around.  It kept up all day and when we went out for lunch is was blowing up so many waved that we could hear the sea organ from blocks away.  We walked over closer and were blown away to see a very large Viking Cruise ship docked where there had been open sea the day before.  Had a great lunch and headed back to pack up to leave in the morning.

Oh la la indeed

29 October 2023 Zadar: Walking the Walls and Another Park

A walk along the walls followed by another walk in the park today.  We saw so many delightful things.  First was a metal 3-D sculpture of the old town.  Then we stumbled on the "Park of Heads."  This park had a dozen or more bronze busts of notable Croats.  Wandering further into the old town we saw churches, bits of Roman architecture and large tour groups.  Then it was time to head to the park to have a picnic.
