5 October 2023 Budva: The Cliffs and the Dancer

We continued out of the old town to the north along the waters edge.  This took us along another beach where the fancy hotels had their beachside presence.  There was a bronze statue of a ballet dancer just off shore.  We saw one person crab walking over the rocks trying to get close to it.  From the looks of the shiny areas on the statue, where the hand oils have dissolved the patina, some people were able to get all the way out there.  We continued along the waters edge where the cliffs were quite interesting.  Layers of folded and cracked rock rose up from the water up to a height of 30 or 40 feet.  There were more beaches along this path and buildings up on the top of the cliffs.
