The rain was light in the morning. We headed out with our raincoats to get food to cook and drinks to drink. While we were out we stopped at Kopon for a great lunch and as we were ordering the rain kicked in again. We lingered at lunch until it stopped and then headed back up to our fantastic AirBnB. We shopped and got pork chops for dinner and some tasty bits for dessert. Darko has taken care of us and has really made our stay something special. We saw more Game of Thrones tidbits and really understood the wisdom of allowing GOT to film on location for free. They had to compensate people that were financially impacted by he filming but nothing to the authorities.

These steps are the same as the Spanish Steps in Rome that were built in 1712 as a tourist draw. The Pope usually paid only half of what it took to build something because who was going to say no to the Pope. The city of Dubrovnik paid the builder of these steps 50% more than the asking price so that he would go back to Rome with nothing but great stories of Dubrovnik.
