11 October 2023 Athens: The Cradle of Civilization Rocks

The gang is all here!  After a long day of travel in small cars and small planes we arrived at the Athens AirBnB at around 5 PM on the 10th.  Dave and Kristine had already been there most of the day and had been to the store and such,  We got our stuff in to the place and then we all went out to the Stinky Bishop for dinner.  It was tastier than the name would indicate.  Laura arrived a t 8 AM on the 11th and got to the place by 9 AM.  Dave and Kris slept till 10:30 due to a few days of going sleep deprived. We decided that a HoHo ride would be a nice low impact starter activity.  So we rode around on the black line seeing much of the town and getting a peek of some of the ruins.  We could see the Parthenon on the Acropolis hill and some of Hadrian's arch as well.
