19 October 2023 Sarande: A Rough Day at Sea and a Flying Scarf Photoshoot

We left Sarande at 2 PM after only 6 hours in port.  Part of the reason was that there was a long trip ahead and the other, more pressing part, was that there was a wind event on its way. They expected 50 knot winds and 4 meter seas.  We had experienced strong winds and big seas the previous evening so we understood when the Captain announced that our stop in Kotor Montenegro was going to be canceled,  Instead we were going to try to out run the winds and get to Dubrovnik a day earlier than planned.  When nature gives you wind, have a flowing scarf photoshoot!
