We toured the bridge of the ship before we headed out. At the helm was Will. Will is 20 years old at the most, but he has been studying and working since he was 18 and is now a certified 3rd officer. then it was off to the ruins of Delphi. The ruins of the Temple system at Delphi were lost to the ravages of history until it was re-discovered in 1880's. This rediscovery happened as a result of basement repairs in one of the houses in the town that had been built atop the site. The Government then moved the town people a few miles down the road and further down the mountain. Then we drove up the side of a mountain to get to the site of the Oracle of Delphi and it was a good 2 hours of trudging over uneven steps before the tour was over.
