The sun was out and we decided to take advantage of the nice day and walk along the water. There was a full moon scheduled for later. As it turned out that this is our "semi-official" three and a half years on the road (three years and 182 days). A half a year is 182.5 so I don't know how to work in the half a day. Add to that the fact that we had a leap year in the mix, have been flitting back and forth across time zones and the math becomes very complex. What was no complex was the delightful stroll along the edge of Paphos Archeological site. Normally shy birds were calm behind the perimeter fence and we saw some nice birds, kestrels. and larks.
A sleepy pelican
This car seemed inordinately large
Tidal pools
A saw of sorts
The lighthouse that we can see from our apartment
Sharp claws at the top of the picture
They belonged to this Kestrel
Crested Lark
The lighthouse from a different angle
A BLT, bird like thing, that fooled me. It is just a rock
Greenfinch
A floating hibiscus flower
Little fish and a big chain
Pick your time, they are both wrong
Upstairs in the hot tup we watched a beautiful sunset unfold
The gradient of colors was spectacular
Are these sunspots?
The lighthouse and the sun
We hoped for a green flash but no dice
Fitting for our 3.5 year anniversary, a full moon
It is the cold moon
Not so cold when you are sitting in a bubbling hot tub
The hills of Paphos
Howwwwoooool!
It has been 3 years and 182 days since we began our Migration
