9 December 2025 Paphos: Further Exploration Along the Coastal Path

Another bright and sunny day found us back at the coastal walkway at the Paphos headlands.  This time we started walking just past the archeological site and walked to the end of the tomb of the Kings area.  It was a four mile total walk and we really enjoyed this new section.  There was a five star hotel that we passed and we took a walk on the grounds to check it out.

This is the playground attached to the beach bar

A large stretch of seagrass

We spotted a fox terrier

The classic "You may think the walk is over but I don't think so" maneuver.  We know this behavior very well

Now that I am a birder, nearly everything starts to look like a bird!

A sea serpent?  No just a floating rope

Looking back towards the lighthouse

A great looking great cormorant

The coast here is undeveloped

Greenfinch

Pretty birds

Five star luxury

Pool, balconies, beach laongers

A pool bar and outside toilets

The red warning flag, dangerous swimming conditions

A trimmed palm with years of branches at the bast

A little shrine at what looked like a turtle head made of rock

Our next adventure will be this stretch of walkway

Fat cat city

Nice color scheme

This area had a place for rent but it came in second place

The glass partition no longer lines up and there are cracks on the edge, not so safe it seems

An entire herd of goats!

Crashed in the front and the cover is melting off.

It has been 3 years and 187 days since we began our Migration
