11 June 2025 Osaka: A Brief Venture Outside

The flu is loosening it's grip on me and I was able to sleep a decent amount.  Leslie has also been trying to stock up on sleep time to keep strong and hopefully avoid the flu.  It was still raining but the rain stopped in the late afternoon.  After my afternoon nap, we took off with shopping bags in tow.  After a circuitous route we finally made it to the store and stocked up.  There was much translating to be done as many items looked good but were not easily identifiable.  Some items were not worth the risk included the squid wing sushi.  We filled our bags with fresh fish, Yaka tori skewers, a teriyaki grilled chicken steak and other assorted goodies.  Dinner was a fantastic sushi dinner.  It would have gotten five stars in the review but the location, on the couch, was not as romantic as it could have been.

We passed a cool Bali themed spa

Super elaborate doors

A fancy escalator entryway to the station/mall area

Street sweeper, a combo of the old and the new

Finally our destination

Devilish advertisement, that dances
