9 June 2025 Osaka: An Abbreviated Expo Visit and a Visit to the Doctor

We did not do much on the Sunday the 8th.  I had a sore throat in the morning and so we stayed close to home to rest.  After the 17,500 steps on Saturday we all needed a rest.  Diane and Abbe went shopping and Bill did hid own thing.  When I woke up on the 9th I was at the peak of my health for the day, about 50%.  I foolishly thought the antibiotics were working and I would be fine to do the Expo.  I was very wrong, my low energy dropped lower each passing hour.  We really enjoyed the Germany pavilion, and there was live entertainment for the folks in line.  Leslie and Abbe were dancing along and were projected in the big screen.  after touring inside, Bill bought two of the giant bratwursts and we regrouped under the Great Circle as it had started raining.  I was only able to manage two bites of the delicious sausage.  Like any dog, a loss of appetite is cause for concern.   It became obvious that I was not going to do the Expo. So we decided that the Godfreys would continue on but we were going to seek out medical assistance,  Poor decision making on my part ruined the day for Leslie, sorry sweeite.

Robots were cruising by on a regular basis

A super sized audio guide

Beethoven encouraging the crowd to dance

The theme of the site was circularity, circular economy, circular energy systems,

This was the actual audio guide with points all along that you could tap on and get the info loaded into this little guy.  Then you hold his  mouth to your ear and get that info

A circular room, with a circular couch and a circular mirror above it.  by the way the couch rotated in a circle

We picked up some food in the station but ended up on the wrong side of the station.  We took a taxi to the house for only 500 yen

After a nap we found a walk in clinic and got the dreaded news...influenza A
