12 June 2025 Osaka: A Walk in Tennoji Park

Tennoji is just a few blocks away from our house.  With another long sleep under my belt we decided to get out during this fine day and see the park.  There are gardens behind the Art Museum and we shared it with just a handful of other visitors and a half dozen or more gray herons. These large graceful birds were hunting in the grass, in the water and otherwise just standing and looking beautiful.  We continued wandering after the garden and came upon a large lake with a bridge and a march on one end.  There were even more grey herons at this location and we walked around the entire lake.  What a peaceful area and a great way to get out.

The two nearly grown men on the same bike was a surprising sight

The zoo is also in the park
