Nakajima Park is vary large and within the park boundaries are an observatory, a concert hall, a formal Japanese garden, an athletic center and the Iyahiko Shrine. There is also a large pond aptly called the iris pond is fringed with yellow irises. I briefly spoke with and Australian man who was running a coffee stand. I saw three new lifebirds and had a fine time indeed.

This chestnut cheeked starling was mobbing this crow, following it from perch to perch and calling the entire time

After escaping the crow I saw that the garden was now open and I found lifebird #1, Mandarin Ducks
