We took the trolly over to the fish market and for lunch we dove into a huge red king crab. The market was similar to Tsukji Market in Tokyo in its layout but it was much smaller. We wandered through it for a bit but soon we were drawn to the copious king crab for sale. We did not buy the biggest one but we still got a whopper! The sales clerk gave is a bit of a discount 10% off and we agreed on a crab. He took us to the back of his stall where the crab got processed. Slices of the shell were cut off to give us easy access, the top was opened up and the gills were removed. A nice layer of lobster like meat came off of the top of the shell. We devoured it on no time and it was hands down the best king crab we have ever eaten.
