23-24 November 2025 Cullera: Senor Edwardo the Ox and Beach Writing

We bought a fancy Millers Gin in a very elaborate box.  The box was really a box in a box and there was a large amount of silver cardboard leftover that I thought I could re-use to make a project.  Then I decided that was silly so I put the boxes into the trash.  The next day the boxes were calling to me and I removed them from the trash.  It took a few days to make Senor Eduardo and then the fun began!  Song and dance with Senor Edwardo the Silver Ox.  The next day the wind had completely smoothed over the surface of the beach and we talked about writing "Teamleip Loves Spain."  As the day wore on and the patch of sand remained smooth I decided to go for it.

Senor Eduardo

He is now a silver Ox

A nice looking Ox at that

So cute!

Our unofficial survey of dogs determined that chihuahuas are the most popular and dachshunds are second

Groupings like this throw quickly skewed the survey numbers

Another happy dog

Shots o' gazpacho

Made extra special with an olive and a celery sprig

That magical time of night when the sea is pink, blue white and gray all at the same time

Spectacular

It is getting late

But not too late for dogs in the sea

What great fun!

Weeee!  Beach time!

Too fast for the camera

Time for a break

A storm and  high winds blew in overnight

The next morning the sand was very smooth

Leslie found a nice accent piece to match her Italian leather shoes

This is to the north east at sunset, greenish tones and an unusual ray pattern
