The car was due to be returned by 12:00 noon and Valencia Airport is 45 minutes away. Of course we got there early and it was super easy to return the car. We hopped in a taxi and was at our hotel around 12:30. We were also happy to be able to check in right away at the hotel. The hotel receptionist suggested places to eat and we took him up on his suggestion. Lunch was delightful and we walked over to the botanic gardens which was a leisurely 25 minute stroll.
We are in Valencia and there are signs for Madrid, three hours away
