We had a 400 km trip ahead of us to get to Barcelona. Since we had to get the car in Valencia, we booked a transfer to ensure that there would not be any train related shenanigans. The transfer went smoothly we almost had a quick turn around at the rental car but the passenger seat was so uncomfortable that we had to find a different model. The associate helped with that and then we were on our way. We had another 3 3/4 hours of driving ahead of ourselves so we got right to it. Since the steering wheel is on the left side of the car, I was the driver and Leslie the navigator. There is always some amount of learning curve associated with a new car. The tricky park of this car was finding the cruise control button. There were three different controls on the left side of the steering wheel. Two were visible to me and one was hiding behind the steering wheel and I could not see it while I was driving. It was not until 2 hours into the drive when we stopped at a rest area that I finally found the cruise control controller. The rest of the drive was so much easier. We pulled into the parking lot, brought all of our stuff to the AirBnB and settled in. There was an upscale mall with a large variety of food available and we headed over there for dinner. We found some gyokuro tea which was a fine discovery and we got ravioli as an easy to cook dinner.
We were up earlier than usual so we could catch our ride
Driving to Valencia
The smoke was very thick this early in the morning
An art full circle
Giant peppers! I want one
Our car for the next week
On the hill is the castle
A large common area but a weird wastefull layout
Lots of windows
Nice lay out
The sun is setting and so are we
Down thew block we could see the Familia Sagrada still being built after 144 years
It has been 3 years and 151 days since we began our Migration
