We hopped in our rental car and headed down to Jupiter. We mapped our route and it said 2 and a half hours. That was Sunday night and come Monday morning was a different thing altogether. When we got into the car, the radio reported a accident on 4 North, one on 4 South, one blocking the middle lanes on 426 and so on. Google took us the long way around and we started out heading due east. After an hour of driving through small towns and through many stoplights we were finally on 95 and due east of Orlando. Needless to say we were not to Mike and Debs as early as we had hoped. No problem, we still got to the game on time and we able to see a good game indeed. The Cardinals had three homeruns garnering 7 total runs to bring home a 7-2 victory. We enjoyed all the goodness that a day in the ballpark had to offer, beer, wine, bratwurst, hot dogs and cracker jack. I wanted some sauerkraut but it was no longer available anywhere in the stadium, grrrrrr. We were staying with Mike and Deb at their condo, so we headed back to regroup before dinner. The grounds were very nice with water everywhere. We decided to eat Italian and our ordering spread out over the entire menu, cheese ravioli, pizza, lasagna, chicken with pasta and of course soup, salad and garlic bread just in case we were still hungry. The pizza was particularly good on that evening as well as the next two days.
