Just a couple of miles away from Laura's house is the Black Bear Wilderness area. I headed over early in the morning. It was a Monday and I had to get up get up early to take the trash out. That was as good a time as any to head over and explore. I should have gone a bit earlier as the heat came on fast and by 9:00 i was drenched in sweat. I walked along a nice boardwalk and then took the Bear Trail which was gravel and tree roots. Not too many birds but the trail took me through some nice scenery. I will surely return and take the trail to the St Johns River some early morning in the future.
