1 May 2022 NYC : A Show and Dinner

After the understudy jinx that we had been suffering through, no one wanted to say anything about these two actors.  Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick were the stars of the show and what show would it be without them?  No need to speculate about tha,t since they were both at the theater and ready to perform. Yippiee!  The show was in three acts and they ranged from sad to silly with some physical comedy in between. The stories are from 1969 with a Dr. Joyce Brothers joke thrown in. It made for some funny costumes.  After the show we walked to dinner at Koi. The dining room was a huge three dimensional art piece. The sushi was high end tasty. Our waitress shared Leslie's birthday so we had a good round of reciprocal happy birthdays. Then we tore through our dinner.  The snacks at tea were a faint memory at this point. We had fun and laughed all dinner. Our walk home was faster as the wind had kicked up and rain was imminent.
