We slept in as our brunch reservation was not till 10:30. Cafe Un Deux Trois was just around the corner and it was a cute French themed restaurant. We had a delightful brunch and then it was a leisurely stroll to our matinee show "Tina", a biop about Tina Turner. Since this was a matinee, the Tony winning star was never scheduled to perform but the back up actor could not perform either. So the understudy of the understudy was performing her heart out. Some audio issues made it hard to hear her in a few songs but the role is so demanding that we still enjoyed her performance. The singing, dancing and the story were all engaging.
