Donna and Ray invited us to go to a baseball game. This St Louis tradition was easy to say yes to as we both go way back with the Cardinals. They had gone down to Malden MO to attend a fundraiser for the Bootheel Youth Museum that Ray founded all those decades ago. One of the silent auctions was this set of tickets and they placed a serious bid on it and won. Thanks again to the great team of St Louis boosters, Donna and Ray! The Cardinals were coming into the game with a six game winning streak and the Dodgers were on a 4 game losing streak. Unfortunately the birds lost 4 -1 but we had a blast.

The parking was a mess after the game so we got back out of the car and walked over for soome dinner

But the Broadway Oyster Bar had just what we need
