There was alot of rain last night. it made the surface of the pool look like frosted glass. Occasional lightning and eventually thunder. This may be feeder bands for the super typhoon out in the Pacific Ocean. This morning Leslie and I were 90% packed, when we get a phone call from the front desk. We need to leave right now to catch the 9 am ferry. It is 8:30 already. Oh my! We have to change our plans because the seas are too rough for the speedboat. We finish packing, grap umbrellas and bolt. Leslie stopped in at the breakfast area and grabbed a bit to eat. The staff said goodbye and they had a very sweet going away present. Thank you all!. Luckily the 9AM ferry did not leave until 9:30. It was a rough ride. The ferry was 100 feet long but it was rolling and rocking. Big splashes and when it slammed into the water bits of the rust rained down on me. Now we are sitting safely in Phuket at the Les Ange cafe!
