The last of the grand nieces and nephews have reached the age of 11 and so we are taking them to Washington DC. Since these two wanted to go together we bent the rules a bit and took Evan at 10 and Raelyn at 12. The average is 11 so, in a sense, no rules were bent. First Ryan drove us to the Orlando Airport. Then we flew AA and the kids got to sit in the pilot seats as we boarded. The flight was easy and relatively short. Our DC driver was a delight and he took us on an extra orientating tour of the sights. He also stopped at a supermarket so we could by goodies for dinner and for our breakfasts. We settled in and got ready for a big day tomorrow.
