We took the train to A Coruna from Santiago de Compostela at 11:30 and arrived at 12:19. It was a nice ride but we soon saw what looked like rain clouds ahead. These clouds disappeared when we went through a long tunnel, pheww. When we pulled into A Coruna it was sunny and cool. We stood in line for a taxi for 9 minutes and then were at our hotel soon afterwards. Our room was ready so we took the time to re-arrange the room giving us more of a "snore buffer zone" and putting Leslie's bed right next to the window. She really loves her people peeping. Then we headed out and walked through an urban park, into a maze of small streets and made it to the Fine Arts Museum.
Everyone has to stand here waiting to find out which track to go to to catch their train

A Coruna is called the glass city
It is called this due to the many glass enclosed balconies called galeries
It could also be called the dog city as we have seen an order of magnitude more dogs here than anywhere else in Spain
