26 August 2026 Fuengirola: Touring Our New Apartment

The apartment saga has been going on for a month or more.  There is a website, Idealista, that lists all of the places for sale or rent.  Leslie searched repeatedly and kept up the search while we were in the US.  She also joined several FB groups and one of them mentioned another rental site, Pisos, where she found this beauty.  We met with the local agent and toured the place in the morning.  We loved it and started the process of putting down a deposit so we can move in in November.  We already had a AirBnB booked for October so the timing could not be better.  In addition it is a six month rental so we will be able to travel out of Spain over the very busy summer months without paying twice for our lodgings.  The walk through went very smoothly and we took a walk around the area before heading back.  Our relocation agent told us that this was the nicest place she has ever toured, we are so very excited.

We took the trail to the Torreblanca stop and walked along the water to get to the building

A fish sculpture stands where a building once stood.  Google images still had the building in half of it's images so we thought it was a 50/50 chance it might still be there.

The beach is quite nice here
