We drove up the hill and found the lighthouse. The parking was competitive and we found a spot that may not have been a spot. Given that beginning, we planned on a quick up and back but the lighthouse elevator had other ideas. No need to get into the details but we were happy to leave there and head downhill for a while. We drove to the park area and walked around some more. Then we had sushi for lunch!
