I took off early to get my haircut. It took me a few minutes to find the place but I was immediately in the chair and the scissors were snip snipping away. It was a good cut for only 20 euro. Then Leslie and I headed up to the hill at the top of the promontory. There we saw some old fortifications and a giant concrete sculpture. We came back for lunch and waited out the siesta closures, the shops are closed, the museums are closed the school kids pour out of the schools, usually between 1:30 to 3 or 4. On my way back from the haircut I spied a washer and dryer that was free for the guests. So we took the siesta time to do some laundry. I was suffering from a bit of intestinal distress so we hung out for the afternoon only going back out in the evening.
