The mall was still all decked out for the Lunar New Year with lanterns, dragons and a performance stage. In and among the temporary structures are little stalls for craftsmen and for new years gift boxes. There was a stall selling funky crystals that I took a liking to. This mall is six stories tall and we finally made it to the top floor. We found an authentic Japanese Restaurant. They had dishes that we had never seen before and so we tried a few new things. We will have to return and try some more new dishes. Then at the very top was a two story bookstore. Wow they had so many books and things that we were overwhelmed. We got some easy reading material that will be good to consume on our upcoming flights.
My new pendant, a translucent green crystal
Many more to choose from
It took a few visits to narrow down the selection
I even got some extra ties to use later

Clean elegant lines in the Japanese restaurant
We waited to place our order but no one ever came. Then we pushed the button on the table and a loud bell chimed. Our order was places very soon after that

Inside the custard was squid, chicken

The entry to the bookstore
A fun concept, have a bling date with a book
The books had a few key words about the book written on the brown paper wrapper
Up on the sixth floor with shelves and walkways extending up from there
Some funny bird related titles, I took all three.
