After we got back from our lunch I was both full and tired of sitting at the same time. Leslie put her foot up and I took a walk to the KLCC park. It was 15 minutes away and a third of that distance was through the Pinnacle mall. the mall was super busy and geared up the for new year. The park was big with playgrounds, some sort of wading pool, a jogging path and lots of trees. I poked around looking for birds and as soon as I heard the afternoon thunder, I headed back. At the hotel we got some dinner from the club and then went back upstairs to see more of KL at night.
A huge set of dragons in the Pavilion mall
Lanterns stretching to the ceiling
This building is light up with red stripes in the night
So many massive buildings
With more on the way
In the jungle part of the park
What is this? An attack by a local squirrel?
It is a non-native sugar glider
It must be a pet
A pet with boundless energy
These towers once shared the title of tallest buildings in the world in 1998 but are now at 21st tallest
A cool grove of trees
The Petronas towers, not even the tallest building in Kuala Lumpur anymore
Lipstick palms
Having a Whale of a time
The tallest pair of buildings in the world
Some nice shade
the oriental magpie robin
Spotted dove
The men's room
And the ladies
Nice flower bed
A good spot for pictures
The tall tower is all lit up in different colors
It is cool to watch the changing colors from our window
This roof top sparkles like the Eiffel tower does
The red stripes I mentioned earlier
Plus the Dragon and Bunny Video below
