The apartment representative warned us, on the first day here, that we should stock up on groceries and necessities before the first few days of Chinese New Year. Many employees will be traveling to be with family and so the business will close for a few days. We took this to heart and stocked up on veggies and the more perishable foodstuffs while we were in Kuala Lumpur and we brought them back with us to George Town. It is always entertaining to see all the different types of packaging and items for sale in new places around the world.
