It is named Perlan because of the dome that is pearlesque. Built on top of large geothermal water tanks, it is a restaurant with a rotating dining area. The experience was outstanding but I would give it mixed reviews from a restaurant point of view. There was an impressive taxidermy collection and there was local VIP that sat behind us. Maybe they stole assistance the good service?
