Kerio is right on the way to our lodging so we stopped. A hike on loose gravel at 10 degrees Celsius kept most of the group from venturing. I made a gingerly dash up to the edge. The water in the core is 20 meters deep and a brilliant blue. The cloudy day masked the color a bit but it was pretty nonetheless.
