Puffins and cliffs

Just before the town of Vik we pulled off of the main road south  towards the ocean.  The guide book said there may be puffins and the puffins were right where they were supposed to be.   The  granite cliffs are 100's of feet tall.  Of course there are railings to keep you away from the puffins but the railings stop right before the 300 foot drop to the black sand beach below.  So protect the puffins, let the humans protect themselves.  There was some old concrete and steel structures that were rusted and unused.  We speculate that it was some system used to unload boats.
