Of course the Parthenon Frieze is located here. The supporting placard stated the date that the museum " acquired " the items. The different levels of deterioration is surprising. But since the Parthenon itself blew up in 1687 it is to be expected. The remaining items, being 2500 years old are truly magnificent.
