Mellinum Bridge

We walked from the museum of London,  past St. Peters, over the Millennium Bridge to the oldest pub on the Thames.  This may have been the highest density of people yet.  Maybe because it was rush hour maybe the location?  We saw tours, joggers, business people, clerics, musicians and artists.  It is hard to wrap your head around the fact that the first bridge over the Thames was built by the Romans, 2000 years ago, the next one in the 1700's.  They have an ingenious device that sweeps the river for trash, it reorients itself as the direction of flow changes with the tide.
