24 February 2023 Marbella: Walking the Pier

Champagne dreams and caviar wishes is how we are feeling in front of this mega yacht.  We walked out to the end of the breakwater and drank in the sweet scenery.  The mountains ringing the harbor, boat after boat in the marina, large white buildings all matching our mental imagery of the Mediterranean coast.  The day is sunny and although we find it a tad bit chilly, it is February after all.

A long path out to the lighthouse at the end of the breakwater

This is a cool statue

The smaller of the two lighthouses

The Marbella sign

It is a long walk out to the end of the pier

It is hot and cold.  No wind with sun, too hot, wind with sun cool, no wind without sun chilly. wind without sun cold

A large lighthouse on this end

Very large sail boats docked up

Leslie presenting the City Sign

The nicer rocks are closer to the path

Giant intestines in a boat

The town at the entrance to the harbor

James Bond forgot his boat

Some sort of navigational aide

It is requiring some adjustment

Somehow it is a two man job

We still have a way to go to get to the other lighthouse

The town of Nueva Andalusia

Yacht but not our yacht

We estimated 200 to 250 nice boats

A large sprawling hotel

It has been 264 day since we began our Migration
