A stroll around Reykjavik

We took a nice stroll around Reykjavik  We had some tasty soup and a salmon bruschetta and watched all the passer-bys. It was very continental and reminded us of Luxembourg.
We saw some fun sculptures the largest map of Iceland in the world a beautiful lake with ducks and birds and the mountains in the background.  We located the fish market which is a restaurant that is very popular. At our hotel they just had a person cancel his reservation at 6 o'clock and we were able to take it over and we're very fortunate in that regard. It is very busy this time of year and so we would not have been able to get in otherwise.
