The restaurant we went to Mamartut was quite fancy for the local environment. Leslie ordered the Greenlandic tapas which was a carnivore list bonanza. It had whale, seal, narwhal, reindeer, hallibut (grilled and dried) salmon, cod, catfish, cod liver, lamb, lamb liver and a smattering of vegetables. It was more than enough for two to eat. But as it turns out I oudered a musk ox schnitzel. The stroll turned into a power walk as the temperature was dropping fast.
