The Royal Palace is newer than St. George's basilica. It has a very interesting part of the history of Prague. It wad the site of the start of the Thirty Years War. There was conflict and one group threw two politicians out the window. They both survived and it was considered a miracle. That would galvanise the masses and thus started a whole lot of trouble. We saw the throne room, very ornate doors and portraits. As we were leaving there was an alcove that had glorious views.
