From yhe Abby we boarded a medium-sized excursion boat. There were two dozen people on it, some with and some without bicycles, It took us through the Danube Gorge. This section of the river is the narrowest and deepest part of the Danube in all of Bavaria! It reminded me so much of Missouri with the limestone bluffs the green trees and the lush vegetation. However it was as if the Missouri River was running through a canyon 200 feet wide.
