As we cruise down the Danube we saw one beautiful vista after another. We had expected spectacular scenery, but this really was more than we had it had imagined. So many different colors of green with different trees, steep hills little tiny hamlets and river lodges dotted the banks. We sat upstairs and basked in the sun as we watched the whole lock and dam system.
