Happy hour and a bite to eat

With Dim Sung still in our bellies we stopped off at the Fairmont Library Bar for drinks and a bite. The Fairmont was built in 1928 as part of the series of grand hotels put up by the railroads.  It was really something to behold.   Leslie got a nice glass of bubbly and I got a great pour of Petite Syrah. We also ordered a tasty salad of heirloom tomatoes, wild greens and mozzarella cheese.  Plus we shared a lobster knuckle dish that was similar to a chowder. Yummy indeed. Tha Library Bar was old school cozy. Big comfy seats and a lot of dark wood accents. There was a private party / wedding going g on next door and we saw a parade of beautiful saris.
