Now appearing on stage, Seal!

When we were planning the trip we looked and saw that the Toronto jazz festival opened on Saturday evening. Lo and behold one of our favorite artists seal was opening the Toronto jazz festival. He started out with a set of old Jazz standards from Frank Sinatra Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. After the crowd got warmed up he went and did some of his old classics. He came down into the crowd, and a couple of 60 something ladies came up on stage with him. It was funny to see the security scramble, but these women really pose no threat at all. It wasn't until a middle-aged guy in sweatpants jumped up there that they got serious about clearing off the stage. Credit to the ladies they sure knew how to shake what they had.
In line to get into the show

The opening act

Hard to see but there's a balcony up there. What a very cool modern look to the place
Great seats!

Top notch lighting

He had 20 people up on stage including himself. There were 8 strings two or three percussion five horns guitar player bass player grand piano player and more

Singing the classics

Wearing a suit and tie

Getting lost in the song
Out in the crowd
After this woman was asked to get off of her seat that she was standing on to dance. She came up to the front where Seal gave her his hand. That was enough encouragement for her to climb up on stage and start shaking her thing up there instead

At one point four or five women and one man were up on stage they were not supposed to be there
