Dinner At Canoe

We arrived at canoe with an hour to enjoy the beautiful view from the bar. We had some tasty vino, and sat right by the windows. We could see what looked like a sailboat Regatta going on out in the lake. There must have been 40 boats that went from the island, out the inlet, to a marker we could not see and then they turned around and came back. There's also a airport over on the island which was interesting because we could see medium and small planes landing and taking off. The dinner was exceptional. Leslie had risotto with fiddle head fernds and I had rabbit saddle. I also had a exquisite mushroom soup and Leslie had a sweet pea salad with peas and pea plants and pea flowers. The only thing better than the dinner was the people watching. Toronto is a multicultural city as much or more than New York City. Beyond making up stories for everybody that we saw we actually got to find out the real story of the people sitting next to us a lovely couple on their anniversary dinner. It was so engaging that I only took four pictures

Yeah!  Team Leip 29 years strong

On the walk home we passed an Art project dedicated to Canadian workers. The artist chose to commemorate a person that died while working for each year from 1900 to the year 2000. It was touching and interesting at the same time.
