16 February 2025 Da Nang: A Tale of Two Strolls

We took a Sunday afternoon stroll after spending a few hours up at the pool.  It was warm but the breeze had a colder element.  So we opted not to swim but still wanted to get the blood pumping so we walked around.  We scoped out where we wanted to go from the roof top pool area, and explored a new area entirely.

Meticulous care of these gardens

A ceramic dragon

Lavender and purples

A pretty non-committal beer ad.  His look is definitely "mehhh"

Bad-ass mantis shrimp

Very well trained guard dogs

This dog did not even flinch

A funky building.  Modern architecture with a pool un on top

The Ketchup!  I actually crossed the road to photograph a fancy gate and the owner came out to greet me.  I felt bad for him as he seemed eager to get some business

Love the overhang

Huge hiciscus

Someone really liked this rock

Orchids

Another dog was up on the table but jumped down before I could get the picture

One of these statues does not fir in with the theme

Puppies on the sidewalk

They are hauling this large stall and the woman is holding the tow bar in her hand

A large group of boats seen from the pool

33 floors up gives a whole different perspective

The large fishing boats dock here

Separated by a partition, the hotel pool looks nice

More orchids

A small scale pigeon house

A mess of wires and laundry hanging out

A very small scale barber shop

Beautiful doors

More modular modern architecture

A beginner surfer

Love the greenery

Moving truck / scooter

The beach is very popular on this fine day
