5 February 2025 Da Nang: A Three Mile Walk to the South

We worked around the house today, waiting for our cleaning service at 1 PM.  Once that was done we headed out for a walk along the beach to the south.  We went 1.5 miles out and 1.5 miles back.  Lots to see along Da Nang beach.  First there were multiple aquarium restaurants.  Live fish, mollusks, crustations and cephalopods on display and on the menu.  The giant cuttlefish and a large moray eel were the most unexpected items in the tanks.  We saw folks balancing on a tightrope, exercising on chin-up bard and on the beach.  Two gentlemen in particular stood out for extra vigorous and unusual exercises which included throwing them selves onto the sand in shoulder rolls.  Lots of couples were out walking, some in matching outfits.  The kids were few due to the fact that school has restarted after the New Years holiday

A couple of the round boats were out past the surf
