10 August 2025 Maroochydore: Heading Back to the Sunshine Coast

We headed out from the hotel around 10:30.  Our plan was to grab some breakfast from the shop across the street but for some reason they were closed on Sunday mornings.  We had to settle for some food at the train station.  We could not remember the last time we ate at McDonalds!  The train was easy, not much to mention.  The bus went smoothly and we met a nice bloke while switching from the train to the bus.  He had retired two years ago and had been living in Thailand.  He had to get out as his visa was expiring so he decided to return to the Sunshine coast for a spell.

The sun was out for our walk
