We took a shuttle to Brisbane from Maroochydore. Our driver was, Tim, the same man that picked us up from the Sunshine Coast two months earlier. We had a great talk the entire way and before we realized it we were at the airport. We checked in and headed up to the lounge. It was a nice lounge with a decent amount of stuff in it. We had three hours to wait and then boarded the plane. The flight was 5.5 hours and we flew from day into night. We saw the Gold coast in the distance and some of the Blue Mountains. There was not much to see over the center of Australia except one town that was all lit up. We took a taxi from the airport to the AirBnB. Our host was there and she showed us all around her house. Her name was Lynn and she is an award winning photographer. One of her awards came with a private tour of the Smithsonian and a trip to Rochester New York. The house was older with a new kitchen attached to the back. It was in the lower 50's in Perth and so too was the interior of the house, brrrrr. We cranked up the heaters but even then it was a chilly night.
