Yet another sunny day in the Sunshine Coast! We looked at the map and saw a few big parks to the south and so off we went. The first park had a big lake running through the center of it. The black swans were swimming in the center, a swan was sitting on a nest and a huge number of vocal coots were swimming and calling back and forth. There was also a community garden that we poked around in it. There were some personal garden beds and some corporate sponsored beds. We made it to the end of the park and the beginning of a nature preserve. This was a nice forest of gum trees and low shrubs. We waled the entire length of this place and then some. At the end we turned around and then walked back along one of the secondary paths and emerged into t vary fancy neighborhood. This led us back to areas that we had already walked through. We stopped and got a bite before heading home to nosh on it.
